Top Ten Overall
Cloran Mansion, Galena, IL: "Beautiful, well-kept rooms, gorgeous grounds and hosts that thought of all the little extras to make our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the fresh-baked cookies upon our arrival and the sea salts in the whirlpool bath. We will definitely be making a trip back and hope to spend a bit more time by the fire pit!"
Chestnut Street Inn, Sheffield, IL: "If you haven't stayed here, then you haven't been with the most accomodating, generous hosts that any B&B has to offer. Jeff and Monika bring their experiences to Monika's cuisine and Jeff's hospitality services. I have been staying here for four years and never have I been disappointed. My business takes me to this part of Illinois, so business travelers, please note that this is the best alternative from any of the other hotels in the area. I love the Inn for business travel, getting away from the city, and biking the Hennipin canal trail. Please, take the opportunity to stay if you are in the area and treat yourself!"
Huron House, Oscoda, MI: "The Huron House is unparalled in quality, attention to detail, value, cleanliness and service. The management do their utmost to accommodate special requests and to make special occassions even more special!"
Garden Gate Get-A-Way, Millersburg, OH: "Herb and Carol always make a weekend vacation a special experience. From the clean and comfortable rooms, to delicious breakfast and snacks, even to the evening campfire, they think of everything to enhance your stay."
Sleepy Hollow Bed and Breakfast, Elysburg, PA: "Grounds are gorgeous (fish pond, gazebo, beautiful landscaping) B & B is immaculately maintained, breakfast was delicious, and great hospitality from innkeepers. Great experience."
Bloomsbury Inn, Camden, SC: "The house is simply beautiful and it has been restored to its original grandeur. Katherine and Bruce are gracious hosts and they made us feel like we were visiting old friends, instead of paying guests. From the delicious food to the exquisitely decorated interior and exterior to the manicured yard, everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed Bruce’s tour of the house and grounds. If we get the chance, we’ll definitely stay here again! "
The Woodstocker Inn, Woodstock, VT: "Beautiful, modern rooms with spectacular bathrooms. Unbelievably delicious hot breakfast. Friendly innkeepers with wonderful tips for enjoying the area around Woodstock. Great choice year-round."
Applewood Manor Bed & Breakfast, Castleton, VT: "A uniquely wonderful place. The rooms are cozy, comfortably decorated, impeccably clean and very well appointed with high quality bed linens and towels. You feel as comfortable as you are in your own home. Ralph's breakfasts are delicious, the table pleasantly set and Nancy's service and conversation very special. The common areas are equally impressive and the property is very nice. Filled with wonderful details like chocolates in your bedroom and a cup of coffee or tea when you arrive. We will definitely be staying here during our return visits to the area."
Rabbit Hill Inn, Lower Waterford, VT: "We spent three nights at Rabbit Hill and have found our perfect getaway spot. The inn is gorgeous, the rooms comfortable and romantic, the service and food fantastic, the setting rural and beautiful. This is the place to get away from it all and still be treated by inn-keeping professionals who understand the finer things in life. We'll return many times."
Anchorage Inn B&B, Coupeville, WA: "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The inn is very picturesque, with lovely furnishings and a very comfortable, peaceful ambiance. Our room was spacious, clean, and charming, and we had an awesome view of peaceful Coupeville and the waters of Penn Cove. The breakfasts at the inn were a real treat -- beautifully prepared and delicious! The hosts provided first-class hospitality as well."
