Sleepy Hollow Bed & Breakfast
"The Windows of Sleepy Hollow"

Starting with the front door, the windows in our house are what first attracted us to it.  You will remember the house for its design and beauty. The work of the architect Frank T. Lent a New Jersey architect who escaped to the 1000 Islands to dot the landscape with his talent for "Grand Residences"

The Landing

We would love to find out who made this window. In 1905 where did you go for a stained glass window like this. Home Hardware or Canadian Tire don't even have them now.

The Front Door

Not hard to make a grand entrances here. We just love the way lights sparkle through the beveled glass

The Dining Room

The morning sun sparkles and dances on the walls as you enjoy breakfast.

The Eden Room

This is the east side of the house and in the morning, it is the brightest bedroom. So wake up early and enjoy.

The Avonlea Room

The window in Avonlea has a large amber cut glass centre that was chosen to set the tone of the room, soft and comfortable.

The Cloak Room

Between the front foyer and the dining room on the landing you can hang up your hat and also, where we keep the tourist brochures

The Tara Bathroom

This window in the bathroom of the largest guest suite we have makes even the bathroom quaint and interesting. We think that you will be surprised each time you peek around another corner.

Eden's Bathroom

This is the private bathroom for Eden just next door to the room. Each of the stained and leaded windows are different and add a point of interest to the rooms

The Upper Landing

Even on the way to the third floor, that was originally just the attic, there is a beautiful stained glass piece.
