For your comfort, and ours, here are the things we would like you to know.
Sleepy Hollow Policies
  • Changes to your reservation can be made up to 72 hours before your expected arrival without charges or fees, after which a one day charge will be assessed.
  • Payment can be emailed if you have online banking with a Canadian bank.
  • Visa, Debit, Amex, and MasterCard are accepted.
  • Check in is between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM or by prior arrangements. Check out time is 10:30 AM. We need access to the rooms for normal cleaning and maintenance so they are ready for our next guests.
  • The fire alarm is a local alarm. If you detect fire, sound the alarm and proceed to the nearest exit. Don’t forget your PJs. There is a fire escape on the south end (back) of the house.
  • As a "Green Planet" measure, we normally don’t change sheets every day of your stay with us, but we do change them after more than a two-night stay and we do change the towels every day. If you need clean sheets or more towels just let us know.
  • If you need to keep something in the fridge, just ask.

  • If you've forgotten things like toothpaste, razor, shampoo, shower caps, or any other personal items, just ask we should be able to help.
  • We have a smoke free house as stipulated on our fire insurance policy. Please don’t smoke or light candles. We do have some romantic authentic looking battery powered candles if you would like them (Please, don't try to light THEM, someone tried once).
  • Our phone or Internet connections are usually available for your needs. Again, just ask.
  • We don’t allow pets because of guests allergies and Don's.
  • If you enjoyed our hospitality and want to pass on your recommendation to a friend, by all means, do so. If there is some aspect of your stay that has disappointed you, please let us know.
  • It is our wish that everything is satisfactory and that we keep finding ways to improve our B&B. If you have any suggestions we would welcome them.
